With August coming to a close, there are only 4 months left to complete the 2016 New Year's Resolutions we made way back when. If you're anything like the typical procrastinator, you're still left with a majority of the goals you made in January but only have a third of the time to cross them off the list.
But fear not! Here are 3 ways to reach your New Year's Resolution in the few remaining months of 2016.
1. Save more money.
Everyone wants to save money every year, but most of the time we somehow find ourselves struggling when the holidays roll around. Let 2016 be the year of change (pun intended)! You can save your money by using technology in healthcare, putting a few bucks aside a week, or by not treating yourself to Starbucks (or whatever your guilty pleasure is) as often.
2. Eat healthier.
Whether you want to eat better for weight loss or for overall health, there are no penalties for substituting fruits and veggies for that slice of cake or extra breadstick. Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean your summer bod (or goals for a summer bod) have to end. Here are 5 awesome recipes you can try out between now and New Year's Eve.
3. Drop that nasty habit or develop a good one.
It's been said that it only takes 21 days to break or build a habit. If that's true, you have plenty of time to change something you have always wanted to! You could stop smoking or stop biting your nails, or you could convince yourself to work out more times in the week or get on a better sleep schedule. You could even shoot for breaking/building multiple habits since there is a lot more than 21 days left until the end of the year.
