Healthy Tips: Small Changes To Help You Lose Weight

Everyone always seems to be trying to lose weight, but it's really hard work! Not only do you have a job, but you might also be a parent, spouse, etc. So, we decided to not give you the typical "go work out and eat healthy" speech because we know you've had that hammered into your head and make your best efforts to make that happen. Instead, we've created a list of small changes you can do in order to lose some weight! 

No Eat Zones

This one is super important. If you're like the most of us, you grab your favorite snack (chips, cookies, whatever) and snack while you watch your favorite show. It's a great way to unwind, but it's not a great way to lose weight. So, declare no eat zones! If you aren't a habitual couch snacker, figure out the places that you like to indulge and mark that spot.

Replace your cravings

Okay, don't be like this girl and crash into the next piece of pizza you see. Cravings can get the best of us, especially when we're dieting and are deprived of sweets. Instead of thinking "don't do it", go ahead and engage in an activity that you enjoy (coloring, gaming, going for a walk). If you switch it up and get your mind of the craving, you'll be in the clear!

Say NO to Elevators

This one may be super annoying, but trust us on this. Imagine that elevators are your enemies and avoid them at all costs. Take the stairs instead of using the elevator because it's a super easy and quick way to help out where it counts.

Drink up!

Buy yourself a reusable water bottle and keep hydrated throughout the day. Everyone knows cutting soda out is a quick way to shed some pounds, but kicking up the amount of water you drink is crucial. If want to add some flavor, throw a lemon or a lime in to spruce it up!
